The Unit was established in March 2022 to be an open-access space for filmmakers and creatives from the Bradford region and beyond. Now based at Keighley Creative, The Unit offers workshops and events, hot-desking spaces, production and post-production equipment hire, and networking opportunities with our community of over 250 members.

The Unit prides itself on helping the local community to upskill and gain knowledge about the screen sector, in a continued effort to diversify the workforce of the screen industries.

We are proud to be funded by Channel 4 and Bradford Council, and supported in partnership with Screen Yorkshire.
